What
Muurbloem gets to design walls for the teachers' and boardroom of the Cals College Nieuwegein.
Proceedings / Activities
The surface is painted in white and red in the staff room and various colors in the boardroom. Large circles patterns of different styles like confetti are composed on the walls. The boardroom gets a more narrative character in relation to nature. A digital design proposal is made and discussed with the clients.
The rug is custom tailored to the colors and produced. This also applies to the unique magnetic board. This is specially produced for this location only. The designs are hand painted on location. The pattern is applied by means of various stamps. In practice, you make other decisions for the composition than on the drawing board. The allows Muurbloem to factor in playful options to get the best result.
